Tips for softer-feeling DTF prints
1. Try to adjust the amount of white ink try using less white ink for a softer feel. Good White ink level around 75–80% can still give a bright, clean print while making the print feel softer. Make sure that reducing the amount of white ink does not affect the adhesive powder’s ability to stick or the brightness of other colours. On lower-quality fabrics, the garment’s colours can reactivate with heat during pressing. Reducing the white amount can increase the risk of dye m

Dye migration in DTF Printing
What is Dye Migration? Dye migration happens mainly with synthetic fabrics like polyester or heavily dyed fabrics. When heat is applied during a DTF transfer, the fabric’s dye can reactivate and bleed into the design , affecting the print colours. T r ou b lesh oot in g D ye Mi grat ion Adjust white ink: Gradually increase the white ink percentage up to 100% if possible, sometimes 75% is enough, other times 90% works better. Find the best level through testing. Adjust heat a

What is DTF fluorescent ink?
Fluorescent Ink Fluorescent ink is water-based and contains pigments that absorb ultraviolet (UV) light and re-emit it as visible light, making the colours glow in the dark. Have you used DTF fluorescent ink before? If not, here are some important points: Fluorescent ink is usually less viscous than standard DTF ink. You need a dedicated printer for fluorescent ink; it cannot be mixed with regular DTF ink. Fluorescent inks are semi-transparent , so their colours are weaker

How will low humidity affect my DTF printing?
In low humidity (below 40%), static electricity can cause various issues in DTF printing, such as: DTF sheets sticking together, causing jams. Ink sticking to the printhead, leading to clogs. Dust or lint on the printer, film, or substrate, which can affect print quality. Ink not adhering properly, especially white DTF ink. This simple test can show if static electricity is a problem: Print the same image twice, once in colour, once just in white ink. Sprinkle powder on both

Why does DTF powder stick around the printed design?
More detailed information: If the film contains moisture, it can mix with the ink, slowing its drying. Powder applied to these wet areas will stick more, creating an uneven cured surface and making peeling difficult, some parts may even lift off. Excess moisture can also form small bubbles under the powder (see Figure 1). Over a few days, this moisture escapes as water, giving the print or film a “sweating” appearance. Troubleshooting Tips Moisture on the film: The first 1–2

How to tell good TPU DTF powder from poor quality.
Clear white grains indicate pure TPU material, otherwise if it's yellowish or grayish it means either it made of recycled materials or mixed with other different materials. Unfortunately, the recycled power doesn't have a great adhesive property and it will crack easily from first wash. Check the fastness and the surface after curing it, the good quality will give you a strong and even white surface. Check the the elasticity of the print after you transferred it onto the gar
