Why do I get white patches in my DTF prints?

Moisture in the film

Moisture can interfere with ink drying. When powder is applied, it may stick unevenly, which can lead to white patches after curing or pressing.

Too much white ink

A very high white-ink percentage can make the print too wet. This can cause uneven powder application and curing.

Incorrect powder curing temperature or time

If the powder is not cured enough, some areas may remain containing moisture.

Film coating problems

An inconsistent or damaged coating on the PET film can cause ink and powder to behave differently in certain areas.

Ink drying problems

If the ink does not dry sufficiently before powder application, the powder can build up unevenly and affect the final result.
