Why I'm getting extra lines around my prints?

Have you noticed additional lines around your designs, what possibly could cause it

the outlines form the colours and the white base check the photos below:

Possible causes and adjustments:

1. Bidirectional printing alignment: Incorrect bidirectional alignment can cause additional lines or shadows around the design. Try switching to unidirectional printing (right-to-left or left-to-right) to see if this improves the result.

2. White ink contraction settings: Incorrect white ink contraction settings can cause the white layer to extend beyond the colour layer, making a white edge visible around the design.

3. Printhead alignment: Accurate printhead alignment is important to ensure the ink droplets land in the correct position on the film. Check and adjust the printhead alignment if necessary.

4. Encoder strip: Check the encoder strip for dirt, dust or wear. A dirty or worn encoder strip can affect the printhead's positioning and cause the ink to be deposited in the wrong place.

5. Printer earthing (grounding): Make sure your printer has proper internal earthing. Proper earthing is an important part of the printer and can help reduce static electricity and electrical interference.
